first of all i dont get you dumbasses thinking they are some kind of actors, they are not, thats not what a vtuber / streamer is. vtubers are basically simply streamers only as cute anime girls . theyre not acting some character or stuff, thats what you call blatantly lying if they "act" like they are straight up single and claim stuff like that or lie about their personality (seriously normally you call that fraud or scam , somehow the western simps defend that while none vtuber streamers are for the same stuff simply called scamers and the likes, you guys make no sense and are stupid, thats only in the west, the japanese fanbase doesnt defend that shit) . and dont even go defending that, they deliberately do that and know what they are doing on purpose. they didnt "play " the character, they are that, its basically simply your online name or "artist" name like singers and whatever else also got simply names that arent their civil given names. second: i never understood that with the keeping the character thing for the company, simply why? that straight up seems like solely an asshole move. like : "if you leave you lose the model, channel and name! " it belongs to the company and all and they can make money out of them for merch etc. tho they dont make merch or use them in promotion or anything anymore after they left anyways, so it makes no sense to me. i know the company paid for the modell and all . but why not giving them the option to buy it if they want to leave . they could basically let them have it simply but eh at least offer them the option to buy the modell for a normal price (so no not the cost they put in over all the years . only what a modell normally costs without including all the updates or extra costumes they put in over the years for the cost lol) patra is the only one i know who keept her modell actually but that was some different case, i dont know why or how, all i READ was that the company somehow fcked up and therefore let her keep it simply, i dont know if thats true or not but thats all i heard about it , which i would believe. however promoting your roomate on the company is really low and shows they simply want all the money for themself , basically saying hey sub to my alt and throw all the money at me there!. i mean why would you do that? as long as youre still in the company you shouldnt bother about the roomate anyways and do mainly on your main company thing something, not using the company to promote yourself simply on your indie one. fans will find them anyways really quickly and they know that themself. and if they dont have a roomate then theres nothing to promote anyways in the first place.
